S. Hafer Bronson grew up in Charlotte, NC.She was educated briefly in the public school system but her mother felt the parochial school program would better suit her children. After high school graduation she attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors.She later received her Master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. S.Hafer Bronson has been writing poetry for over twenty-five years, using her own life experiences and those of others, as inspiration. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and resides in Concord, NC with her husband, Arthur.
