In my previous book, When God Says "Go," He Is Saying, "Come With Me," I share my testimony of God's desire to use what appears to be a hopeless life to actually advance His Kingdom. He desires to use yours to do the same. In the same way, the teachings in this work are purposed to encourage the reader to move forward towards their calling even while in the midst of adversities and life's challenges. Since failure is something that every one of us will experience at some point, one of the most important skills we can acquire is the ability to respond to it in a godly fashion, in a mature and constructive manner. In other words, will we continue to love, obey and worship God through seasons when we have no sense of His presence or visible evidence of His work in our lives? This is the point at which the enemy of our souls comes in and says, "Checkmate! You're done." This book is a compilation of teachings I have shared over the years in our "Home Connect Group," showing that God is adequate for all of our failures. In fact, God has made more than adequate provisions for us through Jesus Christ at the cross. He allowed Himself to be hung naked enduring the shame for you, for me, for our mistakes, our sins, our failures...Why? Because of His great love for us! Don't give up, there's more! Just when you think you're done, He has another move for you. It's not "checkmate" for you. He wants to reveal the secrets of His Kingdom. Press in. God's presence comforts me. His power reassures me. But God's passion overwhelms me. "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." (1 Cor. 2: 9) In this collection of studies, you will see that they all point to Yeshua as our "Ever Present help in time of trouble." Shalom.
