Marilyn Layman Mascaro is an educator, traveler, and Knoxville, Tennessee native. No matter how far she roams, though, East Tennessee is always home. Enamored with all forms of the written word, she has published poetry and narrative non-fiction, and written the dreaded first novel. Mascaro has a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Tennessee. She lives in Knoxville with her husband, two cats, and a dog.
