Geoffrey O'Brien has published many collections of poetry, including A Book of Maps, FLOATING CITY (Talisman House, Publishers, 1996), Red Sky Café, Early Autumn, IN A MIST (Shearsman Books, 2015), THE BLUE HILL (Marsh Hawk Press, 2018), and most recently WHERE DID POETRY COME FROM: SOME EARLY ENCOUNTERS (Marsh Hawk Press, 2020) as well as ten other books including Hardboiled America, Dream Time, The Phantom Empire, The Browser's Ecstasy, Sonata for Jukebox, and Stolen Glimpses, Captured Shadows. He lives in Brooklyn.
