Autorenporträt
I spent my childhood in Kerala, India, and grew up and did my schooling in Dubai, UAE. Later I moved to Pune, India for a few years to study law and then moved back to Dubai. I moved to Munich, Germany in 2021 to be with my boyfriend and pursue love and career. During my time here in Germany, I reconnected with the Alps, cows and nature. I realised what I was missing the most. All my life I had failed to identify myself as someone who belonged to one culture. As I wrote this story, I realised that it was not just me, but everyone around the world who had visited their grandparents in the country side had similar experiences, no matter where they came from. While we struggle to make meaningful connections in our fast lives, we forget the slow lives we once had. I hope this story takes everyone around the world on a nostalgic journey, at least for a second.
