Autorenporträt
Wayne Tillett was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. His love for art and cartooning has carried him on a thirty year career as a professional caricaturist at some of America`s greatest (and some not so great) theme parks. Upon returning to his beloved Tennessee in 2014 with his wife, three cats, and teenage sons he opened a successful caricature business in Nashville. He is also a member of the Southeast Chapter of the National Cartoonist Society. In 2017 he combined another of his great loves and cartoony ways with a two year labor of loved he titled "Where Do The Strawberries Grow". The children`s book being a recount of the life of legendary Beatles front man, John Lennon. He and his lovely wife now operate a feral cat sanctuary/rescue on their sprawling estate of 1.2 acres, much to the delight of his family vet. When not chasing cats or drawing funny pictures Wayne can most likely be found binge-watching old reruns of Star Trek and Doctor Who.
