Mary Shepherd is a founding member of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, where she is a training and supervising analyst. She has written many professional articles, one of which won the Gradiva Award for best psychoanalytic article of 2013. "Where Do You Go When You Leave Me Mom?" is her first children's book. Clara Wainwright is a fabric collage artist, well known for her story quilts, made in collaboration with children and adults that explore their lives and ambitions. In 2002, she had a retrospective of her personal and collaborative quilts at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts and another at the Cape Ann Museum in Gloucester, Massachusetts in 2010. Her work has been exhibited widely, including in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts as well as other museums, institutions, and private collections.
