A selection of poetry from my heart and soul to yours My poetry began while I was caring for my mother, who had alzheimers. Though she passed away in 2004, the poetry has stayed with me. Over the years it has mutated and grown of its own accord using me only as a tool to transmit its ideas. i have published three other books under the name of Mary Etta Metcalf, but have chosen to be me. i have also had some of my poems published in several anthologies in the U.S. and India i live somewhere within the Appalachian wonderlands creating my words for others to enjoy
