"Where in the world is Froggie?"

A street near Versailles, Kentucky, called Frogtown, inspired this story. The book involves two curious and friendly children, Jessie and Tara, who live on Frogtown Street and a lonely Jordanian prince who lives in a mansion near them. The prince takes the children and their parents on a tour of his mansion. During the tour his pet, Froggie, disappears. As the group searches for Froggie they visit various rooms in the prince's mansion. Each room is named after a different country or place and has cultural artifacts and decorations unique and special to it. The children are intrigued and excited to learn about so many cultures. Their search for Froggie beautifully changes all their lives and that of the area they live in. Read the book to find out how!

Autor

Venkatesh Sudharshan, or Venkat as he is called, was born in Pittsburgh, Pa, USA and grew up in Champaign, Illinois, USA. Sometimes people call him Ven or MC Ven from his rapping days.He has devoted most his professional life to working with children in the school system and through agencies. Venkat has provided services to children of all ages from preschool to high school. Venkat's passion is to work with children with multi needs. Having had similar lived experiences growing up allow him to relate well to the community he works with.He is an accomplished lyricist and rap artist winning several awards from battle rap competitions to spoken word competitions. He has collaborated with several artists and musicians both as an artist and as a music promoter. He has also been a featured rap artist in magazines in Louisville and Lexington such as KYMP and the Leo.In 2023 he has also started a career in marketing and providing businesses with space to brand themselves in family/community publications.He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in Human Development and Family Studies from the ACES College. He has a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky and has certifications in counseling (CRC and CVE). Venkat calls Nicholasville in Jessamine County home. He had the good fortune of traveling the world as a kid and those experiences are reflected in "Where in the World is Froggie?"
