WJ Stockdale is an English writer of historical fiction. Educated at Oxford, his first novel, Where Innocence Ends, introduced the Victor Winter Saga. A prequel short story, The Eye of The Storm, will soon be available. He cites his influences as Dickens, O'Brian, Macdonald Fraser, and Forester. He is a staunch defender of the Oxford comma.
