Susie Crosby grew up in a family of educators and loved going to school. She graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in elementary education and has been teaching students in grades K-8 ever since. She is currently a music, physical education, art, and technology specialist at an all-kindergarten school where it is never, ever boring. Her students give her handmade notes, funny nicknames, and plenty of ideas to write about. Susie and her husband live in Mukilteo, Washington, near a rocky beach, a lighthouse, and a ferry-boat landing. They love to hike, kayak, discover new coffee shops, and cheer for Seattle sports teams. Most of all, they enjoy spending time with their two adult sons, Andy and Ty.
