Autorenporträt
Author-Dr. Sai Vedati is a psychiatry resident with a doctorate in medicine, a bachelor's in biology, and a bachelor's in psychology. He has also received training in Adult and Children combined psychoanalysis. He has worked with children in an acute setting, ages ranging from 5-18. As a member of the South Asian community, he recognized the stigma behind the expression of feelings and mental health in society. The goal is to encourage parents to allow discussion of emotions. Editor - Margaux Haiber completed her Bachelor of Science in Education degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2019. In her time there, she worked with students ranging from 7th to 12th grade across multiple schools in the area. Margaux enjoyed teaching science and interacting with her students inside the classroom as well as hearing about their lives outside the classroom. Her students always taught her something new and brought unique perspectives to the discussions.
