David Finoli has penned thirty-four books highlighting the stories of the sports franchises of the Pittsburgh region. Tom Rooney has worked with the DeBartolo-owned Civic Arena Corporation and spent four years working for Mario Lemieux as president of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Chris Fletcher is the former publisher and editor of Pittsburgh Magazine, where he won ten Golden Quill Awards. Robert Edward Healy III is a professor in the media department at Duquesne University and cofounder of Duquesne's Sports Information and Media program. Douglas Cavanaugh is a freelance writer. He recently wrote Pittsburgh Boxing: A Pictorial History.
