In this poetry-infused calendar for kids, embark on a journey of discovery through beautiful landscapes, contemplative poems, and the inspiration to be yourself. What better way to start the new year than with an inspiring, interactive calendar? Capable poet and photographer Elizabeth Carmer presents Where Should We Go: We Are Always Going Somewhere, a monthly journal and a canvas for creative expression. The book contains twelve poems and accompanying photographs that promote contemplation, mindfulness, and an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us. Designed to provide kids with a descriptive journey through the year, each page invites kids to open their imaginations and respond to what they see, read, and feel. Sections are included for readers to describe each month on their own, exercising their creativity alongside the poet and artist. Where Should We Go is an ideal outlet for kids who are creative, artistic, aspiring writers, or involved in Gifted and Talented programs. This book will make an excellent stocking stuffer for the inspired child in your life, giving them a unique outlet that will last for the entire year.
