John Howells grew up in the Santa Clara Valley, otherwise known as Silicon Valley, and stumbled onto a carrer in the computer industry while pursuing his passion for playing live rock and roll. He has worked for NASA, Silicon Graphics, Apple, among others. Currently he spends his time writing and publishing books, as well as producing music on his own label, Quake Records.
