Author Aobakwe J. L. Diteko is a Motswana lady born on the 6th of October 1994 at the capital city of Botswana being Gaborone. She was raised by her strong, single mother and was an only child for the first 14 years of her upbringing, before being blessed with a wonderful little sister. Aobakwe grew up loving books, poetry and reading, having volunteered and spent most of her school-time in libraries; she went on to study Library and Information Studies as a degree at the University of Botswana in 2013. She had always dreamed of being a writer, consequently, she co-wrote a local movie script and went on to do freelance journalism in the final year of her university tenure being 2017. Having tasted the excitement of being a writer, she garnered the courage to finish and publish her first work `Whisper` after graduating. Through Whisper she had learnt to release some of her deepest emotions and hopes that in reading the novel, others would also come to find some degree of healing through it.
