This is the story of two young people and their friends who have a wonderful job in the Wind River Mountain Area of Wyoming on a large guest ranch. The two trail guides have a past, each different; one more dangerous than the other. But when one incident starts a chain reaction. When old friends show up at the ranch, emotions appear and their very friendship comes into jeopardy. There is horses, music, adventure, danger and evil. But also, love. Can their new found feelings withstand the unfolding of the past and will it promise a future?

Autorenporträt
My name is Sharon Langin, but friends call me Shari. I have been writing since High School. Started writing short stories for extra credit. I also draw, haven't done so in a long while. I have done many different things in my life. Animals have figured in most of it. I am a small person and have always been a tomboy. Grew up in the Mid-West (IA). But I love the West and mountains. I was in the Air National Guard for almost eight years, as a Driver/Dispatcher in motor pool. The last two years as an Egress Tech Mechanic. Was Honorably Discharged as a Staff Sergeant. a I rode and showed horses; also trained and showed dogs. Was a trail guide (horses) and also managed a Boarding & Grooming Kennel. Worked for the Humane Society. Was a bank teller and I guess you say a Jack-of-all-Trades. When I write, I want my characters to connect with the readers. So that they feel like they are part of the story. I want them to realize that no matter if you are small, tall, short, male or female; your dreams can come true. But you have to try. Life isn't all black and white, it's all different colors. Family, Friendship, Loyalty, Respect and Honor, Trust and Truth are the mainstay of life.
