Mike Shipley is the author of "Whittling the Country Bear & His Friends; Whittling the Old Sea Captain, Revised Edition"; and "Hand Carving Snowmen & Santas." Mike has been featured frequently in "Woodcarving Illustrated" magazine. A full-time professional woodcarver and teacher with more than 30 years experience, he is a production carver who sells 120 carvings each month at woodcraft shows, online, and from his studio in the Ozark Mountains.
