Mary B. Gray, a poet since she learned of poetry as a child, was born and raised in Lawton, OK, and currently residesin Oklahoma City, OK. She received her Bachelor of Artsin both Journalism and English Writing, as well her Masterof Public Administration (MPA), from the University ofOklahoma and her Master of Fine Arts from OklahomaCity University. Mary has taken part in Short Order Poemsand The Ralph Ellison creative writing workshops.Previous public readings include the 2018 Martin LutherKing Jr. Day of Celebration, Society of Urban Poetpresentations in 2019 and 2020 as well as the Mark AllenEverett Poetry Series in October 2019 and the 17th AnnualScissortail Creative Writing Festival in 2022. Her work hasbeen published in Ain't Nobody That Can Sing Like Me: New Oklahoma Writing, Territory Magazine and For theSonorous.
