Marie Prins is an award-winning author of middle-grade fiction including The Girl From the Attic. She lives in a historic house in Northumberland County, Ontario. This is her debut picture book. Leanne Franson is a bilingual illustrator who has worked on books in English and French. Her picture books include Emma's Gems, Rainy Day with Bear and I Miss Franklin P Shuckles. She lives near Martensville, Saskatchewan.
