John Anderson is a long-time activist, researcher, and academic. Throughout his career, he has taken a particular interest in topics that affect the workplace and the economy as they relate to workers and society as a whole. As co-editor of two volumes of original research: Re-Shaping Work: Union Responses to Technological Change Volumes One and Two, he investigated with Chris Schenk issues of the changing nature of work and technology. Mr. Anderson is a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and works at The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada. He is also principal at Anderson Consulting, which offers public relations, advocacy, communications, and research services. He can be contacted through his website: www.andersonconsulting.ca.
