Maria Lenna Joson-Ong is a licensed Landscape Architect who graduated with honors from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. She was born and raised in the province of Rizal and is currently living in Cebu with her husband, a daughter and the memories of her beloved son. To cope with the loss of their only son, Lenna and her husband, Jimson, joined other parents in 2009 to organize a Cebu-based support group for grieving parents called HUGS.
