The Development model has wearily passed through economic and political time in different ways, with successes and failures, flaws, ideological biases in its interpretation and resistance to successive crises, stagnating the concept in past times. Many times, endless discussions generally more identified with the policies of the public order of the moment, charged the economic theory with a social and political content, whose empirical results did not correspond to the thinking of the theory of origin. It is then when the political dogma was imposed, thus undermining the whole method and episteme of the economic discipline. In this paper we hypothesize on the theories, many times converted into true paradigms that gave results after being tested empirically, but failed beyond their time or in societies with a different past and culture (economically and socially).
