Ruth Oates has spent much of her life serving and investing in future generations through various children's ministries. Being a qualified teacher, mother of 5 and grandmother of 8, she has witnessed firsthand the life-long impact and value that comes when God's truth is taught and consistently exampled to young minds. Recognising that there is still a child in all of us, including our ability - or lack thereof - to retain the lessons from many sermons, Ruth's book aims to bring truths about God in a meaningful and memorable way for children and adults alike. She lives in regional Australia with her husband (who has terminal cancer), and some adult children who have debilitating and painful chronic illnesses. Her prayer is that through this book, you will be encouraged, comforted and inspired in times of pain to trust and hope in God and seek Him for all that He has for you in this chapter of your life.
