It is with first-hand experience as a victim evolving to a survivor that Carly writes Why Do You Stay. Carly Lee holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with computer information systems. She works as a project manager for a health services and innovation company in the health care industry. Lee lives with her husband, Jack; three Yorkies; and a collection of rescue cats. Lee hopes that sharing her story of overcoming a life marred by domestic violence will offer hope and inspiration to other victims and those who care about victims: friends, family, therapists, and others who want to understand better Why Do You Stay? She is now writing a follow-up to Why Do You Stay?
