Autorenporträt
In 2018, Marcus Perkins lost his adorable, six-year-old Yorkie, who was officially named Selena but was affectionately known as Widdle, due to complications from a collapsed trachea illness. He decided to honor her memory by forming a foundation in her name with a team of dog lovers. The result was The Widdle Foundation, a non-profit collection of "dog-gooders" providing funding for veterinary expenses, research into pet illnesses, and education in the care and training of dogs. The Foundation also helps with the rescue, rehabilitation, sanctuary, and rehoming of unwanted, neglected, and/or abused dogs.
