John Galardi was the founder of Galardi Group, the parent company of Wienerschnitzel, the Original Hamburger Stand, and Tastee-Freez. He was a man of humble beginnings who grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, then moved to California at the age of 19. Within three days, he landed his first job working for Glen Bell Jr. at a Taco Tia restaurant, where he found his passion for business. John opened the first Wienerschnitzel in 1961 at the young age of 23, and could be found working the kitchen, at the register, chatting with guests, and even going door to door to attract new customers. While growing his brand, John built a team of talented professionals who were all dedicated to his vision and the future of the company. His entrepreneurial spirit and tireless work resulted in profound success for him and his family.
