Suzie Napayok-Short was born in Iqaluit on Baffin Island, Nunavut. She has built a career as an Inuktitut translator and interpreter working across Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, and throughout Canada. Suzie currently lives in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Suzie's first book for children, Wild Eggs: A Tale of Arctic Egg Collecting, was nominated for the Silver Birch Express Award.
