Throughout his career, Dr. Samuel Wasser has participated in conservation programs around the world and is acknowledged worldwide as a pioneer of noninvasive wildlife monitoring methods. He is the director of the Center for Conservation Biology and holds the endowed chair in Conservation Biology at the University of Washington. In 2018, the Animal Welfare Institute awarded Dr. Wasser the prestigious Schweitzer Medal for his groundbreaking work. Art Wolfe is an American photographer and conservationist, best known for color images of landscapes, wildlife, and native cultures. His photographs document scenes from every continent and hundreds of locations, and have been noted by environmental advocacy groups for their stunning visual impact. JEFFREY MOUSSAIEFF MASSON is the author of twenty-nine books, most of which are about the emotional lives of animals. His first book, When Elephants Weep, was an international bestseller, as was Dogs Never Lie About Love. He lives in Sydney, Australia with his wife Leila, a pediatrician.
