In a long and varied life Bob has worn many 'hats': Royal Marines Officer, a full time youth leader and Chaplain to two schools. He has sailed round Cape Horn and the world with school leavers, climbed and sailed in the Arctic, and skied and sailed in the Antarctic. He has been a mountaineering, skiing, and sea kayak instructor. He has received many awards over the years - Blue Water Medal, Tilman Medal, Goldsmith Medal for Exploration, Barton Cup, Vasey Vase to mention some. He has received a Piolet d'Or and was voted Yachtsman of the Year in UK in 2013. He has written books about his adventures... but "it is time I wrote about my faith". He is a Reverend and an arctic explorer, and has sailed some 153,000 miles. "Over seven fascinating decades he has influenced many young people through instilling a hunger for adventures in the great outdoors. And in them, Bob quietly and very naturally lives out his Christian faith. His communication skills in presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ have been honed and developed through his vigorous journey through life. In his various roles he has given many Bible talks or short sermons. This book is a collection of some old and new which he hopes will bless you, the reader." Foreword by Lorimer Gray
