William Franklin "Bill" Goodling (born December 5, 1927) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.Goodling, the son of former Congressman George Atlee Goodling, was born in Loganville, Pennsylvania and grew up in York, Pennsylvania. He received a B.S. from the University of Maryland in 1953, a Masters in Education from Western Maryland College in 1957, and conducted doctoral studies at the Pennsylvania State University, from 1958 to 1963. He held various teaching and administrative positions throughout the State of Pennsylvania, and served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1948.
