Inna Makarova nació en 1983 en Novozybkov, región de Bryansk. En 2008 defendió su tesis en la Universidad Pedagógica Estatal Rusa n.a. A.I. Gertsen sobre las obras de W. Golding. Es profesora adjunta en el Departamento de Negocios en Lenguas Extranjeras de la Universidad Estatal de Economía y Finanzas de San Petersburgo.
