William John Lawrence Wallace, Baron Wallace of Saltaire (born in Leicester, 12 March 1941) is a British academic, writer, politician and Lord in Waiting.Wallace was educated at Westminster Abbey Choir School, where as a chorister he sang at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, and St Edward's School, Oxford.
