Don Bourque makes his home in Irishtown, NB, where, in addition to fiction writing, he practices pipe band drumming and paints with oils. He served 37 years in the Canadian Army Reserve. In civilian life he worked with struggling youth and young adults. He hopes to create positive role models in his fiction. Willow: Awakened, Ascended, Avenged is his first novel.
