Bill Blundell is a prize-winning writer and author who has been a reporter, senior editor, southwestern regional news chief, and national correspondent for The Wall Street Journal. His awards include honors from the trustees of Columbia University for distinguished metropolitan coverage in New York; the Scripps Gold Medal for public service for exposure of the massive Equity Funding insurance scandal; honors as winner of the feature writing award of the American Society of Newspaper Editors; and inclusion of an essay in reprints of Houghton-Mifflin's 'Best Of American writing' annual. He is the author of 'The Art and Craft of Feature Writing' and has worked with scores of newspaper and magazine staffs in the U.S., Canada, and Taiwan on improving their writing. He lives and works on the central coast of California. This is his first novel.
