Learning, which takes place through the use of cognitive and emotional intelligence, depends on an interactive process in the environment in which the person is inserted. However, in this process, numerous barriers or difficulties can cause damage. In order to prevent or correct mishaps in the school environment, it is up to the teaching team to encourage the opening of so-called windows of opportunity, which are the most favorable moments for stimulating the brain so that the person can assimilate information of a certain nature. This book refers to a case study on overcoming barriers to learning to read and write through these windows. At the end of the work, after pedagogical interventions specially prepared for this purpose, the subject involved managed to unleash the learning that was expected.
