As I rode off across the English countryside in the bright morning sunlight, little did I know fate would step in to alter my life and the very foundations of my religious beliefs. Mystery, danger, intrigue and love all awaited me at the end of my ride in an unfamiliar forest, thunderstorm and accident with my horse. I awoke in the arms of fate - it was the cottage of a Puritan family. Amnesia, death of a soldier, a trip across northern England and involvement in helping other Puritans escape from England to America or other safe ports only increased loyalty to my newly found friends. With each leg of the journey, the Puritan family's dedication to their goal was echoed through the hills and woodlands as we met their friends and enemies. My destiny had found me and I met the challenge as I began to discover what was important to me - a new faith, a new family and the love of my life.
