LIAM GAUL is a Wexford author and historian, who has published on many aspects of Wexford history. He was chosen by Wexford County Council to write a book on Wexford's American Connections in 2012 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the visit of JFK. This is his fourth book for The History Press.
