In modern telecommunications industry the expansion of the IEEE 802.11 networks is one of the most rapidly growing segment of the telecommunications market. This technology has quickly found a significant place and popularity to provide the typical services of Internet in business, home networking, etc. Growing evolution of Internet technologies determines transmitted data flows to take a shape of specific real time multimedia flows features. For such conditions the IEEE 802.11 general technology was not adapted. In this book author explores the methodology of IEEE 802.11 technological expenditures influence estimation as well as method of synchronous voice communication in customer access, which allows rational adopt the IEEE 802.11 in the voice applied customer access network. Obtained results in the book allow focusing on problematic of the IEEE 802.11 technology in WLAN on particular conditions, which has not been investigated very well in global. Presented viewpoint of analysis can be used for development, standardization, as well as implementation of voice applied customer access or other wireless networks where the main equipment is compatible with IEEE 802.11 standard.
