Bernd U. Schipper, Dr. theol. (1999, University of Bonn), Dr. phil. (2003, University of Hamburg), is Professor (chair) of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament at the Faculty of Theology of Humboldt University of Berlin. He has published monographs and many articles on the history of Biblical Israel, Egypt and the Hebrew Bible, and the book of Proverbs, including: Hermeneutik der Tora (de Gryuter, 2012). David Andrew Teeter, Ph.D. (2008, University of Notre Dame, Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity), M.A. (2003, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Hebrew and Semitic Languages) is Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament at Harvard Divinity School.
