Dejha B was born and raised in one of the toughest areas of the Bronx, New York, to a Cuban immigrant father and an African American mother. She learned early on to use art and entertainment as a way to escape the realities of living in an urban community. Dejha B is a Recording Artist, Celebrity Magazine Writer, Graphic Designer, and a Senior Business Analyst known for her creativity and distinct style. While earning her Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from Berkeley College, she was a writer for an urban celebrity magazine called "Dopeness Magazine." After receiving her Legal Studies degree, she started her professional career as a Senior Business Analyst for New York State child welfare government agency. This gave her an opportunity to speak with youth about pursuing their dreams and goals. After working as a Business Analyst for several years, she continued to pursue her passion for music. This landed her a feature on the legendary 90s R&B group Allure song called "I Do." In recent months Dejha B has been perfecting her graphic design and drawing skills in which she created her brand Dejha B Coloring. She wants to give back to her community by creating books that will spark inspiration, help with creativity, motivate, and help de-stress. She is a true example of "Dreams do come true."
