Cynthia Magriel Wetzler used to be a journalist and wrote many stories for The New York Times. She loved interviewing and writing about really interesting people. But she followed her dream and started writing children's stories so she can make up magical worlds with magical characters right out of her imagination. Maybe you might like to be a journalist or a writer someday? She has grown children and lives with her husband in northern Westchester County, New York. Their high-spirited little dog, Rodney, is the total inspiration for Blissful in this book.
