An Author & Adventurer into History, Kiersten Marcil is the ambassador of a fantastical ride through thehidden deer paths of the American Revolutionary War in her book series, The Enlightened. The firstbook, Witness to the Revolution, was an American Fiction Awards finalist, a "Recommended Read" by Author Shout Reader Ready Awards, and received the bronze medal for historical fantasy by The Historical Fiction Company Awards in 2023.Growing up, the Battlefields of Saratoga were her backyard and tourist sites like Fort Ticonderoga werean easy day trip, and Kiersten couldn't have cared less. It wasn't until journeying into adulthood that shegrew to love books, and even then, not until she became a museum educator that she discovered thefascinating world of history.Kiersten currently lives in Upstate New York with her family: The Husband, Useful Son, and SubsequentSon, as they are affectionately known on social media, along with her two furry children, her co-authorand research assistant.
