* AN ILLUSTRATED 35TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION: Wizard of the Pigeons is one of the most important urban fantasy novels written. This edition will be illustrated by award-winning artist Tommy Arnold in celebration of its 35th anniversary. * Megan Lindholm also writes as Robin Hobb, bestselling author of Assassin's Apprentice and sequels. * Del Rey Books released an anniversary edition of Assassin's Apprentice last year and is releasing an anniversary edition this year of Royal Assassin, perfectly position the author's readers for this anniversary edition. * Wizard of the Pigeons has been out of print for a number of years, making this edition sought after by Megan Lindholm/Robin Hobb readers. BESTSELLING AUTHORS WILL BLURB: Wizard of the Pigeons will see new blurbs from current New York Times bestselling authors in the urban fantasy field. * FULLY ILLUSTRATED: Award-winning artist Tommy Arnold is painting new interior illustrations to go along with his wrap around cover. * Wizard of the Pigeons features an amazing character named Wizard, a survivor of the Vietnam War now living on the streets of Seattle as a homeless wizard whose memories may or may not be exactly what he remembers. The book is a dark but hopeful look at PTSD, homelessness, poverty, and mental illness. * THE CHARITY CAUSE: Like many Grim Oak Press projects, the publisher is donating 5% of sales to Seattle veteran charities for the homeless.

Megan Lindholm lives on fourteen acres in the outskirts of McKenna, Washington, with a husband, two dogs, a cat, fifteen chickens, a gander, and three ducks. She is a grandmother to seven youngsters of various ages. She has been a published author since she was eighteen years old, and in 2020, that was fifty years ago. She has written for little local newspapers, children's magazines, and educational publishers as well as commercially publishing both fantasy and science fiction novels and short stories. While she shares a keyboard with Robin Hobb, they are definitely not the same writer!
