Conji is in deep trouble from the impending attack of the tribe from the Northwest and the brewing rebel menace spearheaded by Greta, the Greek who is bent on striking vengeance and taking over the throne. Narayana, the Prince of Poompuhar, while helping Conji suppress the turmoil, witnesses a series of tragedies that changes the lives of many... Devi, the Princess of Conji away on a mission at the time of the catastrophe, suspects the involvement of Narayana in the disaster and moves to the country of Satavahana in disguise with the help of Saint Saraswathy. She continues to run, not out of fear for her life but to keep Charu, her adversary in love, away from Narayana's eye. The Prince chases Devi across Bharatha Varsha to meet her, convince her of the truth and fulfil the promise given to her mother. Finally, he confronts her in a Vedic meet at Kedarkhand that turns the drama 180 degrees. The novel parades characters that realise at a point of time that 'they are not what they are' when it comes to their own matters and their philosophies are a façade to cover their true colour. When stripped of their desires and ego, they realise the 'I' in them. About the Author: N. KrishnaKumar aka Krishna was born and brought up in Kerala.
