Dr Loretta Chen cuts a prominent figure in both academia and the entertainment arena, having topped her Masters' cohort at the prominent Royal Holloway College, University of London, and being the first doctoral scholar in Theatre Studies from UCLA-NUS. Loretta Chen is also a creative consultant and director of high-profile theatrical productions and marketing campaigns, as well as a seasoned host, corporate trainer and consultant. Her directing credits include the internationally acclaimed 251, a "fresh, inspired and victorious" production of The Vagina Monologues, two sold-out seasons of The Swimming Instructor and the "ingenious" What the Butler Saw. She also directed the Asian Premiere of the Broadway classic, Victor/Victoria (nominated for two Life! Theatre Awards) starring international jazz sensation Laura Fygi.
