Womanhood: Becoming a Woman of Virtue a two-in-one Bible study suitable for individual or group setting. There is an indepth section developed for the woman who likes to linger in the Word and a condensed segmernt that is designed for the woman on the go. Eight specially selected women of ancient times were, for the most part, ordinary women who found themselves in unprecedented circumstances. Some of the choices and decisions made by Eve, Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Miriam, Deborah, Tamar, and Esther will challenge us, their hardships will encourage us, their faith will inspire us, and the lessons they learned will reflect a ready application for women of the twenty-first century. Ultimately, there is the opportunity to grow in one's own faith and understanding of the Scriptures. The In-depth portion has five daily homework assignments that require approximately twenty to twenty-five minutes of study time per day to complete. Discussion and personal application questions are at the end of each daily lesson. Participants will meet together once a week for a 1 1/2 hour session to discuss the homework assignments. The Condensed section is also suitable for individual or group setting. Questions are meant to help today's woman relate with women of the Old Testament, connect to one another in class, and hear what the Lord is saying to her through His written Word. Participants will meet once a week for a two-hour session. Class members will work together in completing the weekly assignments and discussion questions. There is no homework. Each woman's story gives hope that no matter how deep or where our roots have grown, our flower can bloom in God's sunlight.
