Breast cancer is one of the diseases most feared by women because it affects the anatomical body and psychosocial aspects. It is now considered a chronic illness. There are a large number of people living with cancer, whether in treatment, remission or symptom control. This panorama requires psychology to work more efficiently, specifically and with an interest in understanding what leads patients to greater difficulties in the different stages of treatment.
