Huda Al-Hassani es académica en el departamento de inglés de la Facultad de Letras de la Universidad de Mosul (Irak) desde 2013. Obtuvo su maestría en el Departamento de Inglés de la Facultad de Letras de la Universidad de Brunel. Como académica, está interesada en los estudios literarios modernos contemporáneos. Además, ha publicado cuatro artículos y dos libros literarios.
