In recent years women are contributing to major portion of their families' income. Since most of the activities such as production, processing, storage, sales, purchase and preparation of food are carried out by women, their role in the improvement of the family nutrition, in particular and community nutrition in general cannot be ignored. Women's income may be an important determinant to influence their family nutritional and health status by attaining food and nutrition security. This book provided an overview on women entrepreneurs and their contribution towards improving the food and nutrition security of their families.
